Fuel Tank Vent and AutoPilot Servo

Ed worked on locating the place where the right fuel tank vent will need to be installed.  We had to compensate for the tank wall thickness and working around the root rib.

Mike worked on the autopilot servo.  Based on the distance the the elevator push tube travels, it was determined a longer throw of the servo control arm was needed.  A  new servo control arm was constructed.   Next, a servo push rod needed to be built.  A basic kit was provided from Garmin.  Holes were drilled in each end of the supplied aluminum rod.  The holes were tapped with a 10-32 tap.  This allows rod ends to be screwed onto each end.  Hours: 1.5
